As luck would have it, I recently beacom engaged to the love of my life. It is truly a beautiful time and I am excited to become a wife, mother and dutiful life partner. As luck would also have it, three of my close girlfriends are also engaged and planning to be married this year. This is a sweet journey: the planning, the anticipation, the many decisions for the big day. It is made even
sweeter sharing the experience with girlfriends who are having the same thoughts, decisions and anticipation.
We recently attended my first ever bridal expo. It was very overwhelming-all the vendors-photographers, cake bakers, dress makers, oh my! My head started to spin a bit as I realized just how many details go into putting on a wedding. But as we walked through the expo and I started to talk more with the vendors and my fellow bride-girlfriends, I started to loosen up and have fun. I also realized how cool and blessed I was to have that relationship with three other brides.
I’m so excited about all of our happiness and that we all have loves in our life forevermore. We’ll always hang out and do our girlfriend thang but how fun to have the bridal layer as an accent this 2011 year. Cheers!
