April is National Poetry Month and I interviewed iconic poet and publisher Dr. Haki R. Madhubuti on For the Culture with Christina Steed

Ladies and gentlemen, Dr. Haki Madhubuti is a poet, publisher, and founder of Third World Press. He read some of his poetry and shared his amazing journey as a Chicago institution builder and multi-faceted creative on my show For the Culture with Christina Steed. We talked about his life and work as a poet. He read a piece from his most recent book “Taught by Women” entitled Books as Answer.

“Books and libraries are anti-ignorance.”
