2022 will mark the year I became the host and producer of my own TV show. Yay! For the Culture with Christina Steed will premiere on September 13, 2022, on CAN-TV and also stream across digital platforms across the country. For the Culture is part of CAN-TV’s new signature programming rolling out this autumn. My show will air every Tuesday at 7 p.m. CST and will feature conversations with Chicagoland movers and shakers who are doing what they do “for the culture.” The topics will span the arts, pop culture, business, women’s issues, entertainment, trending news, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging issues with a focus on what makes Chicago the dopest city ever. This show will represent a different narrative about Chicagoland through the lens of the folks who keep this city moving.
I’m so excited to return to my journalism roots with this new show. I hope you tune in and, of course, there will be much more to come from your girl as we continue through 2022! Cheers!
