So, I have been asked to be a co-host on a local radio talk show for a segment dedicated to discussing male/female relationships. While I am far from being an expert on this subject, I do have strong opinions and viewpoints on this issue based on my own experience and that of other people I know. I often spar back and forth with male friends about the state of dating, marriage, relationships, etc. in the Chicagoland area. The difficulties related to manning this minefield are too numerous to get into on the blog today but what I don’t want my radio commentary to turn into is another regurgitation of the dismal stats of relationships. I want it to be positive. Talk about the choices some folks make in lieu of bending to the bell curve – feeling they need to be with someone or in something so that the world will notice them and they can feel they matter. There are several folks out there, men and women alike, who are making certain choices that definitely are not popular but are making them happy just the same. One of those choices being actually waiting for the right match, real love, real passion, emotional connection and all that jazz.
Decisions, decisions…
If I choose to do this show (and the general consensus of the homies is to do it and plug the blog), what do you think I should discuss? I have a lot of topics from the guys so I can counterbalance my own musings (or ponderings) about dating and relationships. Would love to hear some thoughts so I can craft my debate. I plan to make my decision on whether I should throw my hat in the ring this week so get at me with your thoughts.

what about how/why people CHOOSE not just the people they get together with, but also why they CHOOSE to end it. it’s never an accident. Tons of reasons out there, and maybe there’s something to it. How you draw out their true reasons is the challenge.

This will be my first Blog and I will be smooth and non-controversial.
DO THE D….RADIO SHOW BECAUSE YOU HAVE A LOT OF GOOD IDEAS AND INSIGHT. YOU ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE SUBJECT AND CAN BE VERY PERSUASIVE.
BE STRONG,REMARKABLE AND REMEMBER “GO UP, GO DOWN, GO LEFT, GO RIGHT, BUT NEVER DANCE TO THE GROUND.
