The Shared Room

I am at work on my first fiction novel based on the life of Ethel Goode Franklin. Franklin was an artist with humble beginnings who was also a bed and breakfast owner in the quaint town of Ogunquit, Maine. Her home was a refuge for her family and African American artists and vacationers during the 1940s through the 60s. The Shared Room is fiction based on the true story of a Renaissance woman defying the odds and establishing a legacy.
