Life just got more spectacular. I have finally launched my podcast series Sir Coffee and Mrs. Tea! *Cue applause.
I am a huge fan of listening to podcasts and having really good, substantive conversations. I also love a luxuriously delicious cup of tea. I decided to grab my husband and record one of our many conversations as one of our #marriedlife rituals is discussing (read: debating) topics over a cup of coffee for him and tea for me. I thought it would be cool to turn some of those conversations into a podcast. Ain’t love grand!
In our inaugural (read: rough cut) episode, we talk about some of the cool events we attended this past week including the South Side Community Art Center’s ballet and the Black Dandy art exhibit. We also chat about activities surrounding #BlackLivesMatter in light of another shooting in South Carolina and the impact of violence in our communities. And finally, we delve into the debate between the tenets of blogger Food Babe and her new arch-nemesis Science Babe. Is Food Babe really full of shit?
